Slow Down Samui (Road safety)

Students from years 5-9 embarked on a campaign with their homeroom teachers, deputy head and headmaster of the school to help slow down the drivers of Samui. Thailand has one of the highest death rates in the world when it comes to driving on the roads. To combat these statistics, students rallied to the roads with signs, helmets and printed t-shirts to raise awareness. We were lucky enough to garner local government and police support as well multinational groups such as Amari and OZO hotel group who donated free helmets to the bike riders of Samui.
